Structural CAD Technician

Pacific Engineering is seeking a full-time CAD Technician to join our Structural Engineering team in the development of engineered drawings, including framing plans, elevations, and details. This position requires proficiency in Autodesk software, specifically AutoCAD. This position will require someone willing to work on a variety of project types and disciplines. As a Technician at Pacific Engineering, you will receive one-on‑one support and mentoring from a licensed Professional Engineer and an experienced CAD Technician to foster your technical development and help achieve personal and professional goals.

• Direct mentorship under a licensed Professional Engineer and an experienced CAD/BIM Technician
• Drafting of projects in multiple sectors, including education, medical, industrial, commercial, and municipal
• Regular dedication to professional development to stay up to date with current drafting practices and latest technology
• Exposure to various project design elements, including concrete, steel, masonry, and wood structures

Education and Experience

• Associate’s degree in Technical Drafting (or similar)
• 0 to 5 years of Structural AutoCAD drafting experience
