Columbia Valley Community Health (CVCH) is growing! CVCH is a dynamic, progressive community health center with locations in Wenatchee, East Wenatchee, and Chelan. We are hiring for multiple MA-C positions at our East Wenatchee, Wenatchee, and Chelan locations.
Position OverviewThe Medical Assistant Certified’s primary function is to prepare patients for their office visit by obtaining and documenting vital signs and medical history. The role provides assistance and support to healthcare providers and nursing staff, working within the healthcare team. Tasks include medication administration, procedure set-up, assistance and follow-through, administration of ordered treatments, and providing patient care support and clerical duties to facilitate patient flow.
Position Requirements- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must hold Medical Assistant-Certified or Medical Assistant-Certified Interim license upon hire. Must obtain Medical Assistant-Certified license before the interim permit expires.
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification is required.
- One year in a clinical setting or healthcare facility providing direct patient care is preferred.
