About the RoleCrowd Strike is seeking a skilled Data Center Technician to join our team. This hands‑on role focuses on installing and configuring data center hardware while maintaining operational efficiency. The candidate must be experienced in data center best practices, Linux, computer hardware components, and networking. The position is on‑site in Wenatchee, WA, and is open to candidates within a reasonable commuting distance.
WhatYou'll Do
- Perform hardware installation, configuration, and testing of data center equipment.
- Perform server and network upgrades within a production data center.
- Run fiber optic and copper cabling to support growing infrastructure.
- Maintain proper cable documentation and cable management standards.
- Configure servers and Layer 2 network settings.
- Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues.
- Follow data center best practices and security protocols.
- Assist with inventory management and asset tracking.
- Participate in data center and expansion build‑outs.
- Use AI technologies to enhance decision‑making, streamline workflows, and improve efficiency.
- 4+ years of experience supporting production data centers.
- Proficiency with command‑line interfaces.
- Hands‑on experience installing fiber optic cabling.
- Basic understanding of power cabling and PDUs.
- Familiarity with Linux and other network operating systems.
- Knowledge of server, storage, and network technologies.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
- Strong judgment to take action and move forward.
- Excellent collaboration skills with both local and remote teams.
- On‑site availability in Wenatchee, WA.
- Willingness to work occasional off‑hours maintenance windows.
- Experience supporting a large‑scale production data center.
- Knowledge of routing systems such as Cisco, Arista, and Linux.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or GoLang.

Placement within the pay range is dependent on relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $70,000 – $95,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
