Description

The Business Office Director manages the community's business office, overseeing human resources, payroll, billing, and operations. You are the primary contact for residents, families, and staff on billing and HR questions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce and manage accounts receivable and assist in month-end closing procedures.
  • Manage all residents’ contracts, execution, and renewals.
  • Responsible for resident orientation and move‑in coordination.
  • Maintain resident and employee files, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct new‑hire orientation for all staff.
  • Serve as human resources contact for the community.
  • Produce and manage payroll.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to keep the community within budget.
  • Direct oversight of front desk staff, including recruiting, training, supervision, and development.
Candidate Qualifications
  • High School diploma required; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in business office management, finance, human resources, or accounting.
  • Knowledge of computer systems, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
  • Experience in accounting, billing, collections, and expense management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; passion for serving seniors.
  • High accuracy, time‑management skills, ability to work independently.
  • Professional ethics and high integrity.
  • Capacity to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
  • Preferred experience in independent living, assisted living, memory care, or senior living.
Salary

$26.75 per hour
