Project & Program Management, IT Project Manager, Operations Management
POSITION OVERVIEW
Our projects with Tribal partners rarely follow a fixed start date, end date, or scope — priorities shift as community needs and circumstances evolve, and we need a Sr. Project Manager who treats that as the normal nature of the work, not an obstacle to it. This role is about standing up projects from the ground up, staying proactive when direction changes, and building the kind of trust with Tribal partners that lets the work move forward even when the path isn't linear.
Within that, the Sr. Project Manager is still accountable for delivering on budget and against an evolving scope.
This position extends beyond traditional task tracking — it requires direct ownership of key action items, effective facilitation of internal and customer-facing meetings, and active support for the engineering team, and the Director of Tribal Programs. Additionally, the project manager is responsible for directly contributing to monthly customer billing targets.
In addition, the Sr. Project Manager serves as the primary relationship manager for Tribal accounts, fostering trust and ensuring that projects address both technical requirements and community priorities. Success in this role demands a collaborative approach: the Sr. Project Manager is expected to contribute meaningfully to project execution, working alongside the team rather than solely delegating or reporting.
