The CompanyPac Aero’s core businesses include an array of electronic connectors and housings for the world’s most extreme environments. Pac Aero is primarily located in Wenatchee, WA with a remote manufacturing site, Bonded Metals, located in Sequim, WA. Working together, we employ proprietary technologies, best practices engineering, and specialized manufacturing techniques to produce hermetic connectors and electronic packaging that perform in the world’s most extreme environments.
Pac Aero’s products are hard at work in medical components, such as cardiac-function devices, on key aerospace & defense programs, in space and deep below the earth's surface.
Job Summary
The Machinist positions are Trainee and Levels I-III.
Trainee is a role designed to train individuals in the operation, setup, and maintenance of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment.
Machinist I works under general supervision and is responsible for setting up and operating manual or CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Machinist II operates and sets up CNC machines to produce precision parts, ensuring quality and efficiency in production.
Machinist III is a highly skilled, independent contributor responsible for performing complex, multi-step setups and running production on advanced CNC machinery (3- and 4-axis).
Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm. Eventually may need to work other schedules mentioned in the Work Environment criteria.

- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Observe safety regulations and follow protective equipment requirements. Report hazardous observations to your lead or supervisor.
- Must be able to retain information and show continued progression towards the next machinist level role.
- Run production parts, learn to set-up as ran quick change jobs. Be able to change and dial in new tools, make and understand tool and fixture offset adjustments.
- Perform initial quality inspections on materials and finished parts, using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Capable of maintaining a consistent high-quality level of deburr and visual inspection.
- Capable of performing basic shop math for calculating dimensions.
- Download CNC programs, set up/cut fixtures and tooling on machines, and set tool offsets. Dial in part for a first part buy‑off. Follow all shop paperwork, processes and best practices.
- Read and interpret work order steps, blueprints, and specifications to understand the requirements for each job.
- Load raw materials and finished parts into machines (up to 50lbs).
- Maintain logs of production and quality data as required. Ex: run sheets and inspection routines.
- Identifying and escalating any operational issues to lead or supervisor.
- Run production parts, independently set‑up as ran quick change jobs as well as run 1 parts. Be able to change and dial in new tools, make and understand tool and fixture offset adjustments. This includes preparing fixtures, cutting tooling, selecting and installing tools, and loading and adjusting CNC programs.
- Consistently meeting allocated set‑up times.
- Capable of making small edits to CNC programs to correct for slight differences in parts to improve efficiency with leads approval.
- Perform initial quality inspections on materials and finished parts, using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
