Pac Aero is primarily located in Wenatchee, WA with a remote manufacturing site, Bonded Metals, located in Sequim, WA. The Position

Job Summary

Working under general supervision, the Standard Implantable Technician I is responsible for manufacturing precision medical components in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards. This position involves a variety of production and assembly tasks to ensure the accurate and reliable manufacture of implantable medical devices. This production assembly job requires basic knowledge of computer systems.

Mon-Fri, 6:00am-2:30pm

Primary Responsibilities
  • Work cooperatively with all employees.

  • Following company handbook policy and companies cell phone policy.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by area Lead or Supervisor.
  • Observe safety regulations and follow protective equipment requirements. Report hazardous observations to Management personnel.
  • Follow daily clean up and housekeeping procedures.
  • Comply with all quality, safety, and work-related rules and regulations.
  • The ability to complete tasks in a reasonably timely manner.
Standard Implantable Technician I Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a basic ability to read and comprehend drawings and work instruction documentation.
  • Perform the following functions:
  • Proficient usage of microscopes in accordance with drawings and quality requirements.
  • Ability to learn and use applicable area equipment.
  • Must be able to assemble hardware of all different variations.
  • Demonstrate the ability to accurately and efficiently use applicable measuring tools such as, but not limited to Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gage and Pin gauges to inspect dimension criteria.
  • Load and unload parts or products into firing, masking, and abrasion equipment using appropriate tools and handling procedures.
  • Adjust oven temperatures, firing times, abrasion PSI, solder fountain temperature and mask equipment based on material requirements.
  • Document firing, abrasion, and solder data (time, lot, PO, oven temperature, rework, rejects) accurately.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on firing and soldering equipment.
  • Must be able to retain information and show continued progression towards a Standard Implantable Technician II role.
  • Must have the ability to work in harsh environments.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by area Lead or Supervisor.
  • Ability to find and interpret Engineering Drawings to correctly determine requirements.
  • Learn to use the correct tools, techniques, and equipment necessary to process assemblies both prior to, and following, the Standard Implantable process.
  • In-process visual inspections under a microscope to confirm compliance with quality standards.
  • In-process dimensional inspections with drop indicators, calipers, and micrometers as needed.
  • Ability to operate equipment including vapor degreaser, blue wave, abrasion, mask, solder, firing and ultra sonic machines.
  • Ability to solder dip components using a solder fountain.
  • Develop strong understanding of the quality requirements of individual components and the finished products.
  • Ability to mask components for sandblasting ensuring proper surface protection and finish quality.
