Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery

Position Overview

TNAA Total Med RN is hiring a travel nurse RN for a Labor & Delivery assignment in Wenatchee, Washington.

• Stay with and monitor patients throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist patients with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression/lack of dilation.
• Ensure beds are kept clean and dry; clean up bodily fluids before and after delivery.
• Aid physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, delivery instruments, etc.
• Provide immediate care of newborns.

• Minimum 3 years recent acute‑care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, stoop for long periods.
• Capability to lift 20 pounds comfortably, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong stress‑management skills and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
