CVOR RN

• Shift Options:
  • 3×10-hour Days: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (
    30 hrs/week
    )
  • 3×12-hour Day/Evening Rotation: 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM with rotating 30- and 40-hour weeks
• On-call required

• Active Washington RN License or Compact RN License
• CVOR experience required
• General OR experience in addition to cardiac surgery experience
• Current AHA BLS
• Current AHA ACLS

• Circulate and provide nursing care for cardiovascular and general surgical procedures
• Develop, implement, and reassess individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments
• Perform ongoing patient assessments
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient education
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the multidisciplinary team
• Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise assistive personnel
• Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives
• Maintain a safe, clean surgical environment

• May float according to staffing needs
• Must be willing to float as a patient sitter when assigned

• Practice in accordance with the Washington Nurse Practice Act
• Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practices and department workflows
• Adhere to Confluence Health policies and unit standards
