• Valid Washington State or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Adherence to organizational policies and unit standards
• Must consistently function within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and keep current with legal aspects of nursing
• Requires ability to take call
• Must float as a sitter and may participate in rotation for floating duties

• Coordinate and provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process
• Develop, implement, and reassess individualized patient plans of care
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures and treatments
• Evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness and patient education needs
• Document assessments, care provided, interventions, and responses accurately
• Gather patient information to ensure safe, high-quality care
• Conduct ongoing holistic assessments and respond to patient needs
• Determine and implement appropriate nursing actions to meet care goals
• Educate patients and families on health information in a timely manner, sharing written materials as needed
• Maintain current knowledge of workflows and evidence-based procedures
• Delegate appropriately and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
• Participate in performance evaluation and quality improvement processes
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with all healthcare team members
• Maintain a clean and safe environment according to policies
