Neonatal/ NICU Nurse, Surgical Assistant, ICU Nurse
Position Highlights:
- Full-time, employed position
- Specialty focus: Neurosurgery & Orthopedic Spine
- Provide inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical care
- Evaluate new patients, perform follow-ups, and manage post-operative care
- Collaborate directly with neurosurgeons to develop treatment plans
- Assist in the operating room with advanced neurosurgical and spine procedures, including:
- Craniotomies
- Intrathecal baclofen pump placement
- Spinal procedures and instrumentation
- Microscopic procedures
- Perform hospital rounds, including ICU patients
- Conduct ED and hospital consultations
- Manage VP shunt evaluations and reprogramming
- Assist with lumbar drains and ventricular/ICP monitoring
- Participate in call responsibilities as assigned
- Cross-train with multiple surgeons within the department
- Work within a collaborative, team-based environment
- Competitive salary: $68.27–$82.21/hour (based on experience)

- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
- Neurosurgery, orthopedic spine, or surgical experience preferred

- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, staff, patients, and families
