American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring WA/Compact RN licensure and multiple critical care certifications.
Details- ICU setting within a hospital environment
- Night shift schedule: , 3x12s, 36 hrs/week
- No on-call responsibilities
- Required to float as a sitter and may float in rotation
- Active WA State or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC
- Must adhere to facility policies and unit-specific standards of practice
- Knowledge of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and current legal aspects of nursing required
- Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care using the nursing process and unit standards
- Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and complete nursing procedures/treatments as needed
- Evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness and educational needs
- Document assessments, care plans, interventions, and patient responses accurately
- Perform holistic ongoing patient assessments and respond appropriately
- Delegate and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
- Educate patients and families on relevant health information
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain a clean, safe care environment
