RN – Medical Surgical

Wenatchee, WA | Acute Care

Contract | Days (0600–1900) | 3x12s, 36 hours/week

• Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient plans of care, including physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments; accurately document care, assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Conduct holistic ongoing patient assessments and evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness, educational needs, and necessary changes
• Educate patients, families, and significant others on relevant health information in a timely manner
• Delegate appropriately to non-licensed assistive personnel and may be required to float between campuses or serve as a sitter

• Active Washington State RN license or Compact RN license required
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must practice consistently within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards
• Adherence to applicable facility policies and unit standards
• Ability to float between campuses and serve in rotation as needed

• Prior Medical Surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting
• Experience with electronic health record documentation and clinical workflows
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
