Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Wenatchee, WA | Acute Care

Contract | Days (0600–1900) | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

• Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient plans of care, including physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments while accurately documenting assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Evaluate and update discharge plans for appropriateness and educational needs; provide timely patient and family health education
• Delegate appropriately to non-licensed assistive personnel and collaborate with all members of the healthcare team
• May be required to float as a sitter and between campuses in rotation

• Active Washington State RN license or Compact RN license required
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must practice consistently within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards
• Adherence to applicable hospital policies and unit standards

• Prior Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Experience with holistic patient assessments and evidence-based nursing procedures
• Familiarity with performance improvement processes and clinical workflows
