American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an ICU position requiring WA/Compact RN licensure and current ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.
Details- Work in the ICU at a hospital facility
- Night shift schedule: , 3x12s, 36 hrs/week
- 30 minute meal break included in shift
- No on-call responsibilities
- May float in rotation and required to float as a sitter
- Active WA State or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC
- Must adhere to facility policies and unit-specific standards of care
- Must function within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act
- Coordinate and provide high quality, compassionate patient care using the nursing process and unit standards
- Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments
- Evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness and educational needs
- Accurately document assessments, care plans, interventions, and patient responses
- Complete holistic ongoing assessments and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
- Delegate and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
- Provide patient and family education and share informational materials as needed
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff per hospital and unit policies
- Participate in performance evaluation and improvement processes with unit leadership
