Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Scarsella Bros., Inc. is currently seeking highly motivated candidates to join our team at a project in Wenatchee, WA as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
Experience LevelIntermediate
Primary Responsibilities and Duties- Work independently or with industry specialist to troubleshoot/diagnose problem with production machinery
- Set-up, run, troubleshoot, and tear down mining machinery
- Experience with diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic and 24V electrical systems
- Trouble shoot machinery errors
- Communicate issues with machines to project management when necessary
- Work with equipment operators to ensure machines are running safely and properly
- Perform required re-fueling and lubrication task.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Ability to perform work in a safe manner, while following best practices and in accordance with company policies
- 5+ years of direct Heavy Equipment Mechanic experience with repair on yellow iron.
- Ability to understand, follow, and communicate written and oral instructions with management or supervision.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safe and efficiently
- Able to meet all physical requirement
- Able to work outdoor in all weather conditions
- Able to climb, work at heights, and in confined spaces
