Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Trainer (Biotech)The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Trainer is responsible for developing, coordinating, delivering, and documenting training programs for all employees. This role ensures employees are trained to safely and effectively perform their duties in compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ISO standards.
Training will focus on safety, standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, regulatory compliance, and the safe operation of Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT). The EHS Trainer will support operations across multiple shifts as needed, with the primary assignment on the 2nd shift.

- Develop, coordinate, schedule, and deliver training programs for new hires and current employees.
- Conduct training needs assessments and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
- Deliver new employee orientation, on-the-job training, and recurrent/refresher training across all shifts.
- Conduct instructor‑led training and competency evaluations (PIT/forklift, PPE, LOTO awareness, safety procedures, emergency response, etc.).
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and HR to support training schedules and workforce needs.
- Collaborate with operational leadership and quality teams to create, review, and update work instructions, SOPs, and training materials.
- Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, toolbox talks, quizzes, and practical checklists.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e‑learning tools to build, assign, track, and document training.
- Maintain training matrices, certification records, and compliance documentation, including follow‑up on expirations and recertifications.
- Track and report training completion and employee progress.
- Gather and analyse feedback to continuously improve training effectiveness.
- Support EHS initiatives, including safety walks, safety observations, job safety analyses (JSAs), and ISO audits.
- Conduct monthly inspections of safety equipment (first aid, fire extinguishers, etc.).
- Coordinate and participate in emergency preparedness drills (fire, tornado, evacuation).
- Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and post‑incident retraining as required.
- Ensure training programs align with applicable OSHA regulations, company policies, and ISO standards.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
- Participate in all TVS SCS quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and flexibility to support off‑shift operations as needed.

Physical Demands
The associate may occasionally be required to lift up to 51 pounds; assistance is required for items exceeding this weight. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to work in hot or cold environments as needed. Work Environment
Warehouse environment subject to seasonal temperatures, noise, and regular forklift traffic. Ability to support all three shifts when required.
Full Time. Schedule flexibility for extended or unplanned work hours is required.

Education and Experience- High school diploma or GED required;
Associates or Bachelors degree in Safety, Environmental, or related field preferred. - 2+ years of experience in EHS, safety training, or operations within a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment.
