Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Controls Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Controls Design Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering support group, providing technical expertise and innovative solutions across various projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.

What’s the Job?- Initiate control system design from written sequences of operation.
- Engineer and design pneumatic, electrical wiring, and hydraulic piping diagrams.
- Design programmable logic controller (PLC) and human machine interface (HMI) software.
- Tryout, debug, and provide start-up support for control systems.
- Provide technical support for the installation of tools and equipment, and assist in training plant personnel.
- Proficiency in PLC hardware and software, with experience in Allen Bradley or Rockwell preferred.
- Experience working in an industrial environment with automation systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or ePlan for designing electrical diagrams.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and support multiple projects.
