Reliability Engineer
HiFyve is hiring a Reliability Engineer in the Industrial Manufacturing industry in Wentzville, MO!
Salary: $30-$45/hr
Shift: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM, with some weekends and on-call responsibilities

About the Role
Support equipment reliability, maintenance performance, and continuous improvement efforts at a customer manufacturing facility while serving as the primary onsite technical resource.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor equipment performance and reliability to maximize uptime and operational efficiency
- Collect operational data and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
- Perform vibration analysis, thermal analysis, and condition monitoring activities
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, controls, and automation systems
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve reliability
- Ensure preventative maintenance activities are completed and properly documented
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractor maintenance and service activities
- Manage critical spare parts inventory and equipment availability
- Work closely with plant leadership, maintenance teams, and contractors to support operations
- Support PLC, SCADA, HMI, instrumentation, motor control, and electrical distribution systems
- Assist with equipment upgrades, reliability initiatives, and continuous improvement projects
- Provide technical support during equipment failures, shutdowns, and emergency situations
- 5-8+ years of maintenance, reliability, controls, electrical, or industrial manufacturing experience
- Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, HMIs, instrumentation, drives, alarms, and motor control systems
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with low-voltage electrical distribution systems (480V and below)
- Experience performing root cause analysis and reliability improvement initiatives
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with plant leadership, maintenance teams, and contractors
- Valid driver's license required
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred
- Journeyman-level maintenance or electrical experience preferred
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Experience in automotive manufacturing, chemical processing, or industrial manufacturing environments preferred
- Experience with burners, fans, pressure transmitters, and process instrumentation preferred
