What You'll Be Doing
As a Welding Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer, you'll serve as a technical resource supporting highly automated body shop operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting welding and automated production equipment
- Supporting robotic welding and joining systems
- Working closely with Maintenance, Production, and Quality teams
- Identifying root causes of manufacturing issues
- Improving welding and production processes
- Supporting new robotics installations and automation upgrades
- Coaching technicians on troubleshooting and process improvements
- Driving continuous improvement projects
- Monitoring production performance, quality, and equipment reliability
- Helping maintain world-class safety and quality standards
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Engineering or related technical field)
- Manufacturing internship, co-op, project, or work experience
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work overtime and rotating shifts when needed
Highly Preferred
- Manufacturing Engineering experience
- Welding Engineering experience
- Robotics or Automation experience
- Controls or PLC exposure
- Body Shop manufacturing experience
- Automotive manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of resistance welding processes

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $44.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
