11 is partnering with a well-established chemical manufacturing organization to identify a Plant Manager for its Wentzville, Missouri facility. This opportunity comes as part of a planned leadership transition, with the current Plant Manager retiring after 20 years of service.
This is a hands-on leadership role within a small, team-oriented operation. The ideal candidate will bring strong ownership mentality, sound decision-making skills, and the ability to lead from the floor.
The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall operation of a small chemical admixture facility, including production oversight, logistics coordination, customer order management, inventory control, safety leadership, and team supervision.
This facility operates with a lean team of four employees (including the Plant Manager), making this a true working manager role requiring both strategic oversight and daily operational involvement.
- Base Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 (based on experience)
- Annual Bonus: $7,500–$10,000 (based on experience)

- Lead and supervise 4–5 plant employees, including production and distribution personnel
- Direct loading and unloading operations
- Manage customer orders from receipt through delivery scheduling
- Oversee raw material procurement and inventory control
- Coordinate logistics and transportation
- Monitor cost center budgets in collaboration with regional leadership
- Ensure facility safety compliance and conduct safety training
- Maintain building and grounds oversight
- Review and approve plant-related invoices
- Publish required weekly and monthly operational reports
- Partner with HR on employee matters
- Drive accountability, organization, and team performance

Qualifications- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of related experience
- Previous supervisory or business management experience required
- Strong organizational and computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead small teams effectively
- Independent decision-maker with strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
- Industry experience in chemical manufacturing, construction materials, or related industrial operations preferred
