Production Supervisor

Daily Schedule/Shift Able to work any of the 3 shifts including possible Saturdays and Sundays.

Cover people on different shifts when someone is on leave,

Shadow a group leader on 1st and 2nd shift for a couple weeks and they will move to 3rd shift and shadow the business manager

3rd shift will be where they will start and then might move around there based on vacations/sick leaves/etc

1st shift: 6AM – 3PM

2nd shift: 2PM – 11PM

3rd shift: 10PM – 7AM

May have to work 12 hour shifts if they are covering someone – their main schedule shift will be 9 hours

Supervision of UAW team members in a Paint Production Environment. Responsible for the Safety, Quality and Throughput of the employees working for them.

Manufacturing Plant Floor Environment

They will be responsible for safety of the employees, paying people through Kronos, training employees, ensuring line runs through quality. Ensuring the people are doing their work on their job stations, ensure the quality of the vehicle is good, make sure the line is running, produce the highest quality product possible, basic troubleshooting and problem solving

Dealing with people in the union, not a desk job, you will be on your feet 90% of the time, on the floor active position, talking to people all day, they cannot be concerned with raising issues or problems, cannot be shy, have a good work ethic and attitude

Education – High School Diploma or GED

Years of experience – Not focused on years of experience, will take a recent grad

Manufacturing experience is a plus but not necessary
