Private Duty Nurse, RN Nurse
We are seeking reliable and compassionate caregivers (CNAs/HHAs) in the Wentzville, MO area to work on a PRN (as‑needed) basis. This role is ideal for individuals looking for flexible work opportunities, including short‑term patient assignments, call‑off coverage, and supplemental hours.
The position is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient’s residence. Scheduling will be established between the HHA/CNA, patient, and case manager.
Shift: 42 hours PRN / Flexible Scheduling. 6 Hours Daily Non‑Skilled Care Coverage. PRN position as needed and for short‑term patient assignments.
Offers are contingent upon passing a background check.
Responsibilities- Executes physician‑prescribed plans of care and compliant documentation of care provided in system of record.
- Administers prescribed treatments, and therapies.
- Performs patient assessments, coordination of care.
- Performs various activities associated with daily living, communications, and monitoring of vitals while working at the patient’s home.
- Will be working with patients in a comfortable environment where the service is one‑on‑one.
- Communicates with family members, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health of patients.
- Performs other personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s needs.
- Current CPR, First Aid, and 2‑Step TB Test.
- Prefer experience in a clinical care setting, home health preferred.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Prolonged standing and walking required, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move patients.
- Requires hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity.
