• Greet residents and make them feel welcome; be present in the dining room; mingle and entertain; foster an environment where residents can connect as a “Host with the Most.”
• Support meal service as a “Peppy Prepper”: prep tables, salads, and silverware to ensure a smooth service.
• Assist as a “Titan of Tidiness”: bussing tables, sweeping floors, and contributing to a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff as an “Appetite Anthropologist” to report changes in dietary habits or resident attendance at meals.

• Candidate must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English (8th grade proficiency minimum).
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions and apply practical problem-solving skills.
• Positive and energetic attitude; professional in appearance and conduct.
• Criminal background clearances as required.
• Good health; able to undergo physician health screening within specified time frames and test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at the time of screening.
• Dependable transportation; able to work varying hours as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop; regularly lift up to 50 pounds; may require use of a ladder; ability to work in varying temperatures.
