Environmental Manager

TRC Talent Solutions is currently partnering with a manufacturer that is looking to add an Environmental Manager to their team. The Environmental Manager is responsible for overseeing environmental programs and compliance activities for a manufacturing facility. This role ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations, permits, and reporting requirements.

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to air, water, waste, and emissions.
• Manage environmental permits, including Title V air permits and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain compliance with EPA, state, and local environmental agencies.
• Prepare, track, and submit required environmental reports and documentation.
• Monitor emissions and environmental performance to ensure permit compliance.
• Manage landfill and solid waste programs.
• Update environmental policies and procedures as regulations change.
• Coordinate environmental audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver environmental training for employees and supervisors.
• Communicate environmental compliance status and activities to plant leadership.

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of environmental management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Clean Air Act (NESHAP, NSPS)
  • Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA)
  • Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA)
  • Clean Water Act (NPDES)
• Experience managing environmental compliance programs and regulatory interactions.
• Heavy industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
