Residential Irrigation Technician

We are a prominent and rapidly expanding irrigation business operating out of Wentzville, Missouri. As an Irrigation Technician, you will engage directly with our residential and commercial clientele to ensure their systems function at peak efficiency.

• Execute seasonal system activations and winterization procedures.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and swap out various irrigation system components.
• Identify system malfunctions to determine the most effective repair strategies.
• Configure and calibrate irrigation controllers to maximize system performance.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and comprehensive system inspections.
• Install or replace irrigation hardware as the situation requires.
• Help ensure regulatory compliance by performing backflow-related tasks if you are qualified.
• Utilize an iPad and Service Titan software to manage daily routes, work orders, and client data.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation for all service visits.
• Foster positive relationships with clients through professional and helpful communication.
• Ensure company vehicles, tools, and technical equipment remain in excellent condition.
• Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by following all safety protocols.
• Work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative and supportive team culture.
• Assist with additional irrigation service and maintenance tasks as required.

• Collect your assigned company service van and iPad.
• Review your daily route and specific job requirements.
• Travel to various residential and commercial sites.
• Execute necessary irrigation services and repairs.
• Typically conclude your day between 4:00–4:30 PM, though some days may extend to finish pending tasks.
• Return the company vehicle and equipment to the shop upon completion of your shift.

In specific instances, technicians may be permitted to take their service vehicle home, depending on individual circumstances. You can generally anticipate 40–50 hours of work per week, with potential for additional hours if desired.
