Position: 25-26 Instructional Aide Pool, WISD DISTRICT WIDE
Education/Certification:

High school diploma or hold a General Educational Development (GED) certificate

Associate's degree, two years of study at an institution of higher education (defined as completion of 48 semester hours or equivalent trimester hours) of college course work or have met formal academic assessment as required by the Every Student Succeeds ACT (ESSA)

Valid Texas educational aide certificate

Special Knowledge/

Skills:

Ability to work well with children.

Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Knowledge of general office equipment

Ability to communicate effectively

Experience:

Some experience working with children. Description Primary

Purpose:

Provide instructional assistance to students under the direct supervision of a certified teacher. Assist in preparing, conducting, and managing of classroom activities. Application Procedure Position: 2025 - 2026 Instructional Aide Pool (PG 501)
