KRGV Channel 5 News is looking for a talented Studio Camera/Teleprompter Operator to join our team. The role requires operating studio cameras and teleprompter systems during newscasts, maintaining equipment, and ensuring smooth production under tight deadlines.

This is a Part Time position. Availability for rotating shifts—including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays—is required.

• Keep studio equipment working properly.
• Monitor and follow production shoot schedules.
• Prepare microphones for anchors, change lamps for light fixtures, and clean the studios.
• Safely operate ladders and personnel lifts.
• Review rundown with directors and producers.
• Listen and respond quickly to directions.
• Communicate via internal communication headsets with directors and producers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Physical strength to carry equipment.
• Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods.
• Ability to set up and operate teleprompting systems, including computer device controls and newsroom computer system.

• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
