PI Coordinator (Non- RN)
We are seeking a Performance Improvement Coordinator, also referred to as a Quality Improvement Coordinator or Process Improvement Coordinator. A Performance Improvement Coordinator keeps a pulse on how well the hospital meets patient care, safety, and regulatory standards. The coordinator in the Quality Assurance Department collects and analyzes data, leads improvement initiatives, ensures regulatory compliance, promotes patient safety, educates staff, and coordinates reporting to enhance care quality and outcomes.
Shift: Days (Monday-Friday).

Hours:
8-hour shifts, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Knapp Medical Center, Weslaco, TX.
Knapp Medical Center is an award-winning, not-for-profit hospital in Weslaco, Texas. This facility offers a range of services and serves the Mid-Valley community.
Responsibilities- In collaboration with the manager/director of Performance Improvement, assist in the coordination, integration, and implementation of organization-wide performance improvement activities to ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Perform chart reviews and data abstraction for CMS Core Measures and other quality outcomes studies.
- Provide staff education regarding core measures and updates regarding new and enhanced indicators.
- Coordinate reporting to support quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance.
