Staff RN - ICU

Registered Nurse - ICU

We are seeking an ICU Registered Nurse, also referred to as an ICU RN, Intensive Care Nurse or Intensive Care Unit RN. The Intensive Care RN will be responsible for providing intensive care to patients with life‑threatening conditions, monitoring vital signs, blood oxygen levels, administering IV fluids, and communicating effectively with the medical team to modify care plans accordingly.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. Directly responsible and accountable for the care given to assigned patients; communicates with physicians about changes in clinical condition, including hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response.

Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain thereafter.
• Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain thereafter.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital; critical care preferred.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
