As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in Weslaco, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will represent a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, works together, and acts with integrity every day.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, entrances, loading zones, and/or surrounding perimeter to help deter suspicious activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor customer and employee activity, observe for potential theft, disorderly conduct, and/or policy violations, and report security‑related concerns to site leadership and/or local law enforcement when appropriate.
• Document incidents, complete required reports, and support access control, closing procedures, and/or other post orders as directed by Allied Universal and the location.

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
