Journeymen Electrician
We are currently seeking a Journeymen Electrician for our Weslaco, TX location. Perform journeyman level installation, repair, assembly and maintenance of electrical equipment and products. Work involves installing and/or replacing electrical products, apparatus and components.

Education / Licensure:1. High School diploma, GED or Higher Education required. Technical or trade courses preferred.
2. Current electrical city or state (Texas) certification required.
3. Must be able to travel between facilities as needed.
Work requires experience in the installation and repair of Electrical products and fixtures, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
· Installs, maintains and repairs a wide variety of electrical systems including, but not limited to, electrical motors, generators, circuit breakers, outlets, fixtures, fittings, conduit, wiring, timers, starters and all lighting.
· Ensures system complies with electrical codes.
· Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.
· Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
· Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.
· Replaces conduit and wiring as needed.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
· Knowledge of state and local electrical codes.
· Ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion.
· Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
· Hold a valid driver's license.
· Ability to understand and communicate in a proper manner on email, text, or phone.
· High School Diploma or equivalent required.
· Ongoing education, completion of a formal apprenticeship, or valid journeyman electrician's license.
· Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
· Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
· Must be physically capable of all mentioned duties.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
· Work minimum 8 hours a day.
· Drive for extended periods of time throughout the day.
· Must possess a valid Driver's license.
· Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Compensation: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
