Lead Montessori Certified Early Childhood Teacher (3-6 yrs old)
Garden Montessori School is seeking a passionate, Montessori-certified Early Childhood Teacher to join our growing Montessori community. This is an opportunity to guide children during their most important years of development in an authentic Montessori environment that values independence, curiosity, respect, and a lifelong love of learning.
Position Details- Schedule:
Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. - Academic-year position with school breaks and holidays
- Authentic Montessori classroom serving children ages 3–6
- Well-equipped Montessori environment with support from administration and teaching assistants

- Authentic Montessori Early Childhood environment (Ages 3–6)
- Mixed-age classrooms that foster leadership, collaboration, and independence

- Prepare and maintain a beautiful, organized, and engaging Montessori environment.
- Present Montessori lessons and guide individualized learning based on each child's developmental needs and interests.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and respectful classroom community.
- Observe, assess, and document student progress through ongoing observation and record keeping.
- Maintain lesson tracking, student records, and observations using Transparent Classroom.
- Communicate regularly with families through conferences, email, Transparent Classroom, and weekly classroom newsletters.
- Collaborate with colleagues and administration to support student success and school initiatives.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children while upholding Montessori principles and school policies.
- Montessori Early Childhood Certification (AMS, AMI, MACTE, or equivalent)
- Experience working with children ages 3–6 in a Montessori environment preferred
- Strong classroom leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with or willingness to learn Transparent Classroom and educational technology platforms
- Passion for Montessori education and a commitment to professional growth
