Responsible for developing, planning, organizing, and implementing an instructional program for Pre‑Kindergarten Exceptional Student Education (ESE) students through curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs, while ensuring that all procedures are followed to maintain safety and security and to meet federal, state, and local regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the field of Pre‑Kindergarten/Early Education, or related field
• Or qualification through state‑approved certification pathway program

• Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate in Pre‑Kindergarten/Primary PK‑3 or District‑issued adjunct certification
• Or valid statement of eligibility

• Reading Endorsement preferred

• All hires must meet the Early Childhood physical examination requirements

• Current and former parents or guardians of children served by the Head Start program will receive preference for employment in Head Start vacancies for which they apply
