Entry Level Front Desk Phlebotomist

Overview

Pride Health is hiring an Entry Level Phlebotomist for our client’s medical facility based in Wesley Chapel, FL 33544.
This is a 6-month assignment (possibility of extension or conversion) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization.

Job Name: Entry Level Phlebotomist

Duration: 06+ months Contract (Possibilities of extension)

Shift: Mon, Wed, Fri and Sat 6a-3p with an hour lunch break (32 hrs/week)

Payrate: $17.75/hr on w2;
Pay rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

• Assist with check-ins in the lobby via a self-service kiosk or handheld tablet, demonstrating care and compassion for patients.
• Be willing to learn phlebotomy skills during downtime or breaks to cover duties.
• Once phlebotomy skills are obtained, perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures with confidence.
• High level of customer service experience/skills is required; this is critical to the role.

Required

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Work Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of client-facing customer service required (Retail, Home Health Aide, etc.). Prior phlebotomy experience is not required. Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

This is a "Front of House" role that includes training on phlebotomy. If the candidate is not willing to learn/perform phlebotomy, do not submit them.
