We’re seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a growing Family Medicine practice in Wesley Chapel, FL
. This is a direct-hire, full-time opportunity offering a stable weekday schedule with full benefits starting Day One
.
Spanish fluency is required
, as you’ll play a key role supporting a diverse, patient-centered Family Medicine population. This is an excellent opportunity for a bilingual CMA who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment and is passionate about delivering compassionate care.
- Greet and prepare patients for exams and procedures with professionalism and empathy
- Collect and document vital signs, patient histories, and intake information in Epic EMR
- Assist providers during Family Medicine exams, treatments, and procedures
- Administer medications and injections as ordered (if certified)
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, urinalysis, and specimen collection
- Support front-office functions including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient check-in/out as needed
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized exam rooms and equipment
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and all clinical regulations
- Communicate clearly with patients, providers, and care teams
- Uphold the organization’s mission and values in every patient interaction
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES-accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current MA certification (
AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA
) - Current CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant
- Prior experience in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine strongly preferred
- Epic EMR experience (required)
- Spanish fluency required
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume clinical setting
- Flexibility to work assigned 8-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
