Registered Nurse ER Mid Shift (Full Time)

Shift: 2:45 PM – 3:15 AM, Every Other Weekend. On Call:
No. Always in person.

• RN (Registered Nurse) License
• Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or higher in Nursing
• 1 year registered nurse ER experience
• BLS certification with American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• ACLS certification with American Heart Association
• PALS certification with American Heart Association

• Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• Organizes, prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patients, family and significant others
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment
• Monitors, records, and updates care team on patient vitals and assessments
• Identifies sudden or subtle changes in a patient's medical condition
• Responds to medical emergencies for critical patients
• High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience, simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient
