Position: Front of House Team Member (F&B Barback)

Metro Lagoons is pleased to announce we are seeking friendly and upbeat front-of-house staff to provide efficient service to all guests. You are responsible for taking orders, expediting & delivering food to guests and maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant. As front of house staff, you should be outgoing, personable, and adept at stress management. FOH staff members will interact daily with guests or customers, handle customer concerns.

The FOH staff typically focuses on customer care and satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders.
  • Transporting food orders from the kitchen to each pertinent table.
  • Clean, set tables and rearrange the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas including clearing dining tables after use.
  • Transport used dishes from dining areas to the dish washing area. Clear tables and stock them with all necessary items.
  • Assist in delivering food and beverages to guests at tables.
  • Assist in meeting the needs of our guests by providing efficient and friendly service. Delivering a memorable dining experience.
  • Working with management to resolve guest questions and concerns as they arise.
  • Wearing and maintaining the company uniform.
  • To perform additional duties to facilitate the restaurant's operations, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • HS diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and reliable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
  • Must be available to work mornings, nights, holidays, and weekends. (Flexible schedule hours will vary)
  • Ability to remain composed, particularly during stressful or uncomfortable circumstances.
  • Ability to work outside in all-weather elements.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
