Position: (USA) Member Specialist

Position Summary

What you’ll do includes providing member service, maintaining the checkout area, resolving member issues and concerns, promoting Sam’s Club products and services, providing guidance to members regarding self‑service technology, processing member purchases, assisting with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies and procedures, following safety standards and conducting safety sweeps, handling merchandise, reporting unsafe situations, maintaining entrance and exit areas, securing assets, maintaining documentation, executing emergency response procedures, ensuring compliance with security and safety practices, training associates, delivering program rollouts, continuous learning, handling returns, identifying shrink and damages, implementing policies and action plans, collaborating with managers and co‑workers, adapting to improvement opportunities, fostering teamwork and integrity, serving customers and members, making decisions, pursuing excellence, driving continuous improvements, and supporting others through change.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00*.

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
