Day shift only:
Office closes  assistant store manager will work between multiple stores in the district. This location is closed on Sundays.

Pay range: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour.

Job Overview

The Assistant Store Manager supports daily operations of one or more self-storage locations, reporting to the District Manager and Store Manager. This role ensures high cleanliness standards and operational excellence, builds customer relationships, and manages sales processes and customer accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through in-person and phone interactions, presenting tailored solutions.
  • Maximize sales objectives through unit rentals, insurance, and moving supplies.
  • Ensure cleanliness standards through continuous maintenance of the site, interior and exterior, office, and surrounding areas.
  • Perform daily site safety inspections, including lock checks.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns related to billing, security, auctions, and site usage.
  • Handle cash transactions, balance receipts, follow up on delinquent payments, process payments, and complete daily bank deposits.
  • Protect company culture by establishing and maintaining professional relationships with all employees.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of customer-facing work experience; sales experience preferred.
  • Current valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle (except in New York City and Brooklyn).
  • High School diploma or GED required; college education is a plus.
Work Environment &

Physical Requirements

Perform indoor and outdoor job responsibilities ranging from sedentary desk work to physical tasks with varying demands. Regular tasks include standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, sitting, and lifting. Must regularly lift or move items up to 35lbs. and occasionally up to 50lbs.
