Overview
Position Summary and responsibilities include applying company policies, executing business processes with ethics and integrity, operating forklifts, managing inventory, assisting members and customers, maintaining safety, merchandising, and supporting technology services. The role emphasizes teamwork, continuous improvement, and alignment with Walmart values and culture.
Responsibilities- Operate forklifts following Company standards and guidelines; safely pick up, move, place, and position merchandise and pallets.
- Receive stocks and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers; manage inventory flow and documentation.
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding self-service technology, assisting with purchases, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
- Maintain safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation; stock, rotate, and display merchandise; manage promotions and seasonal displays; ensure proper inventory levels and documentation; monitor shrinkage and safety risks.
- Support club pickup orders by selecting and staging items per policy and procedures; assist Merchandising Associates and perform occasional audits for accuracy.
- Handle inventory tools and equipment safely; track in-stock levels and report poor practices or low stock in assigned areas.
- Operate and maintain forklifts safely; report unsafe conditions and ensure equipment is in proper working order.
- Provide technology support by identifying customers who need help, assisting with technology services, and modeling best practices for others.
- Identify shrinkage opportunities and work to address problems with products, services, and work areas.
- Collaborate with teammates, communicate effectively, and contribute to a respectful, inclusive work environment; adhere to high standards of integrity and compliance.
- Minimum Qualifications — 90 days of prior experience with forklift operation; ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Preferred Qualifications — Customer Service Experience, Retail Experience, Supervising a team.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in certain circumstances, with amounts ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour; premiums may depend on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
