Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processing for multiple locations and various employee pay structures, including hourly, salaried, technician, and commission-based compensation.

The ideal candidate has strong payroll and accounting experience, advanced Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Process and calculate hourly, salaried, technician, and commission-based payroll.
• Calculate commissions, bonuses, guarantees, and technician compensation.
• Review hours, deductions, attendance, and payroll adjustments for accuracy.
• Maintain and update Excel payroll workbooks.
• Reconcile payroll schedules and accounts.
• Post payroll, accruals, and related transactions to the General Ledger.
• Calculate technician and hourly payroll accruals.
• Respond to employee and management payroll questions.
• Assist with new-hire onboarding and related HR functions.
• Maintain confidential payroll and employee information.

• 2+ years of payroll experience required.
• Commission-based payroll experience preferred; technician flat-rate payroll is a plus.
• Strong math, accounting, and analytical skills.
• CDK, Paylocity, or DMS experience preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
• Self-motivated and highly dependable.
