Toddler Teacher

First Class Child Care has been open since 1999. In 2020 we received our 5-star rating when we became accredited by NAC.

Children learn a lot within the first 5 years of their life. Our staff is here to help children learn and grow in these important years of their life. Our mission is to provide quality service that offers all children a safe and loving atmosphere in a learning environment. We are looking to hire a reliable, patient, and energetic teachers to join our team.

Our center is open Monday-Saturday from 6am-midnight. Full-time and part-time positions available for both shifts. A few responsibilities teachers have are:

· Create age-appropriate lesson plans and goals for children.

· Make observations of children and maintain portfolios.

· To ensure that children are safe, healthy, comfortable, happy, and free from hunger and fatigue.

· Communicate with families, children, and staff in a positive and respectful manner.

· Maintain confidentiality.

· Continue education each year, attend staff meetings and in-service, and work assigned hours.

We offer vacation time, health and dental insurance, employee discount, Aflac, and TEACH scholarship program. We also offer paid holidays after 90 days. Pay is dependent on qualifications an education.

Requirements:

· College preferred/ need at least the skills and strategies, infant and toddler, and introduction to the childcare profession classes.

· Good team player

· Responsible

· Reliable

· CPR and first aid certification/ willing to obtain one.
