What You’ll Do
As a Customer Service Representative (Bank Teller) , you will be the welcoming face of Wood Trust at the teller line, assisting individual and business customers with everyday banking needs. This role includes processing teller transactions, handling cash accurately, supporting branch operations, and traveling between Wood Trust branch locations when coverage needs arise.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers warmly and providing exceptional service
- Processing routine financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, money orders)
- Balancing your cash drawer accurately at the beginning and end of each shift
- Verifying customer identification and following security procedures to prevent fraud
- Educating customers on bank products and digital banking tools
- Assisting with account maintenance such as address changes, card replacements, and inquiries
- Referring customers to specialists for loans, investments, or more complex needs
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all banking regulations
- Handling cash and negotiable instruments with accuracy and care
- Supporting branch operations with administrative tasks and recordkeeping
- Resolving customer concerns professionally or escalating when appropriate
- Helping customers set up and navigate online and mobile banking
- Traveling to other Wood Trust branch locations as needed to provide teller coverage

- A high school diploma or GED (1–3 years of related experience preferred)

- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Comfort handling cash and basic math concepts
- Proficiency with computers and familiarity with Windows environments
- A team‑oriented mindset and a commitment to confidentiality
- Willingness to travel to other Wood Trust locations as needed
