We’re looking for a skilled and dedicated Site Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations at one of our premier West Allis communities.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on hands‑on leadership, proactive planning, and making a visible impact in a well‑established, resident‑focused environment.
Your Role in the CommunityAs Site Supervisor, you’ll manage all day‑to‑day maintenance operations, support a team of technicians, and ensure everything from landscaping to HVAC runs efficiently and safely. You’ll be the go‑to for residents, a key collaborator for vendors, and a critical part of ensuring our homes meet the high standards we promise.
What You’ll DoMaintenance Operations Oversight:
- Supervise grounds upkeep, including landscaping, fertilization, snow removal, and painting
- Handle plumbing repairs and replacements (including water heaters)
- Oversee basic electrical tasks (breakers, fuses, light fixtures)
- Troubleshoot HVAC systems within non‑licensed parameters
- Coordinate and prioritize work orders, make‑readies, and preventative maintenance
Vendor & Project Management:
- Obtain bids from vendors and ensure work aligns with property standards
- Manage warranty claims and coordinate resolutions
- Communicate effectively with third‑party contractors to ensure timely, quality work
- Oversee inspection preparation and support CAPEX and project execution
Team Leadership & Inventory:
- Lead team meetings
- Maintain property‑wide inventory and ensure proper tool access
- Help manage property budgets related to maintenance and supplies
- Train and coach technicians, ensure hours and tasks are tracked and allocated appropriately
Develop and maintain turn schedules for move‑ins/outs
Requirements
- 3+ years of maintenance operations experience (multifamily preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems
- Excellent communicator and team leader
- Organized, reliable, and able to handle shifting priorities with a calm, solutions‑oriented approach
- Budget‑conscious and process‑driven
