About the Role:

The Transportation Manager or "Field Manager" role is pivotal in overseeing and coordinating on-site operations to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within budget. This position requires managing teams, resources, and schedules while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and clients. The Field Manager will be responsible for monitoring project progress, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Success in this role results in the seamless execution of field activities that meet quality standards and client expectations. Ultimately, the Field Manager drives operational excellence and fosters a productive, motivated workforce in the field environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in field management or a similar supervisory role.
• Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate complex field operations effectively.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in field environments.
• Strong understanding of logistics operations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to various job sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or safety (e.g., OSHA 30-hour).
• Experience with field management software and digital reporting tools.
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing field conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily field operations to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Manage and lead field teams, providing guidance, training, and support to optimize performance and safety.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal departments to report progress and address any challenges.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards during field activities.
• Monitor resource allocation, equipment usage, and inventory to maintain operational efficiency and cost control.
