Maintenance Mechanic Trainee
Quad is seeking motivated individuals to join our Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Apprenticeship Program in West Allis. This program combines paid, hands‑on training with related instruction to develop the skills needed to maintain and repair industrial manufacturing equipment.
Ideal for:
- Current Quad employees seeking career advancement
- Students in mechanical or industrial maintenance programs
What You’ll Gain

Training Includes
- Safety & Operations: OSHA standards, tools, and equipment operation
- Mechanical Systems: Bearings, belts, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, motors
- Hydraulics & Pneumatics: System components, troubleshooting, repair
- Installation & Setup: Rigging, alignment, equipment start‑up
- Maintenance: Preventive and predictive diagnostics
- Machining & Fabrication: Shop equipment, welding, and basic metalwork
Program Details
- 8,000-hour structured apprenticeship
