- Logistics Manufacturing Engineer-Racine, WI
- The position will support daily production needs for the logistics business unit, with the largest amount of time being dedicated to new model year launch.
- Engagement in Daily Management system (CBS)
- Collaborate with members of the logistics team to identify gaps to achieve area metrics.
- Execute Continuous Improvement activities related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, & Productivity
- Engage with safety dept, maintenance, tool room, or external vendors to support improvements.
- Follow up on implemented solutions to confirm effectiveness.
- Support necessary line balancing activities, including time studies and work instruction updates as needed.
- Participate in kaizen events related to logistics as identified.
- Facilitate creation of operator instructions and work aids
- Provide ME support in various stages of Build along with shop floor co-ordination.
- Co-ordination for Engineering Change Management (ECO) and implementation support, updating systems for delivery methods.
- Support Validation of Kitting logic (Time, BOM Consumption, Model Option)
- Support packaging requirements making changes as needed
- Manage kitting system and generate kit sheets
- Background in Microsoft Access, SAP EWM, and Proplanner Assembly Planner is preferred
