Shift: 5am - 1:30pm CT (Monday to Friday) – eligible for OT2nd

Global Power Components is a privately held, financially sound, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures, and modular metal enclosures for housing fully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.
Responsibilities:
Read blueprints to determine materials necessary for projects as well as timelines to prepare for projects.
Move materials to work areas in preparation for building product.
Coordinate and stage materials quickly and safely
Requirements:1-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
Previous experience as a material handler is preferred
Forklift certified preferred
Ability to read blueprints to be able to pick appropriate materials
Critical thinker who can make decisions and act on them Ability to follow instructions
Possess ability to work independently and as part of a team
Read, write and speak English fluently
High school diploma or GEDMust pass competency test and pre-employment physical and drug screen
