Cardiac Telemetry 7 South, 21‑bed unit located in West Allis, WI 53227
We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cardiac Telemetry unit. The role involves providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Schedule & CompensationHours:
36 per week; 12‑hour shifts 19:00–07:30. Weekend program (Friday through Sunday) with 50% holiday rotation.
Pay range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour. Night shift differential $5.00 per hour.
Benefits: comprehensive package, nurse residency, loan forgiveness up to $21,000, RN referral bonus, military/veteran friendly.
Qualifications- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice.
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
- Newly licensed RNs and experienced RNs welcome.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of employment.
- Ability to respond to all in‑house Code 4 calls.
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
- Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Use evidence‑based practice and clinical decision‑making to support patient safety.
- Communicate effectively, compassionately, and skillfully with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
- Master pharmacology, pathophysiology, laboratory value interpretation, and telemetry.
- Support a team approach and patient‑centric care to optimize outcomes.
- Cardiac/Telemetry care patients: arrhythmias, congestive heart failure, chest pain, myocardial infarction, and peritoneal dialysis.
